There are tliib year at Hal Price Headleys Beaumont and La Belte Farms, which embraces approximately 2,000 acres, fifty-three thoroughbred foals, and in this fine weather they are growing fast. At the sides of their graz- ing dams, these youngsters make a picture to fill the eve of the horse lover who visits the woodland pastures, for all of the types are represented in the number. Twenty-four of the fifty-three are by Uncle, property of Messrs. Headley and Miller and the premier stallion at Beaumont. They are, on the whole, a highly attractive band. They would be that even were it not for the existence of those three gtod two-year-olds Tracksend, War Machine and Motor Cop which have scored brackets under the Macomber colors.
