Tempy Duncan scored in the second race, making three wins- for owner T. OBrien out of five starts here. Jockey Sterrett. after giving Ediuond Adams a bad ride in the fourth and the same on Asama in one of her previous races, was told by the stewards to accept no more mounts at the meeting, on - account of incompetency. A. Clausen has purchased Edna F. from A. A-Gregg for 00. This was the only horse Mr. Gregg-brought here to race and he has returned to Iris farm in Nebraska. J. M. Henry, Sr. bought back his old campaigner Grosvenor from R. II. McCrosson, which he sold at Reno last summer. Mr. Henry will racctlic useful old horse at Reno and Tijuana. The stewards ordered jockey J. Collins to accept no mounts outside of his contract employers Tur-pin and Ransom.
