WEANLING SISTER TO TIPPITY WITCHET Lexington, Ky., December 20. Among the prospective racers of Harry Payne Whitney on the farm that once was part of the J. B. Haggin estate, are nine weanlings, one of which is watched with particular care because of the sterling performances of Tipplty Witchet this year. The sister to Tip-pity Witchet, which will become a yearling on January 1, is well formed, easy moving and so iin-excitable and inouisitive, that she walks up to- the paddock visitors in quest of apples, carrots or other delicacies. There is no telling yet whether she will possess the speed of her noted brother, but it may "be taken for granted that she will not be let go "by trainer Howe as quickly as was Tippity Witchet, which was bred by Mr. Whitney and sold early in his two-year-old career that turned out so brilliantly. Among the other weanlings is a bay filly by Peter Pan Remembrance, which is so lively that Krcat speed is expected of her in spite of a rather coarse head. A promising colt by Peter Pan Iaint Brush is a sturdy individual of good substance and height. The only other colt in the band of nine is doing well in spite of the fact that he is motherless. He is by Whisk Broom II. Martha II. Others in the band are: Chestnut filly, by Peter Pan First Flight; chestnut filly,, by All Cold Ascension; chestnut filly, by All Gold Hearts, and a brown filly, by Broomstick Belle-Fontaine.
