RING BONES DONT BOTHER SUN BRIAR Grand Sundridgo Colt in Splendid Condition, Weighs 1,090 Pounds and Stands 15,3 Hands High. Louisville, Ky., December 20. "Chief" Samuel Johnson has arrived at Churchill Downs to complete arrangements for the stabling of Sun Briar and other horses that trainer Henry McDaniel intends shipping here next month. Johnson has just come from Binghamton, where the Kilmer horses are quartered and he declares that Sun Briar, the star of the stable, is in the best possible condition. According to Johnson, the crack Sundridge colt has grown and filled out, weighs 1,090 pounds and stands 15.3 hands high. Johnson, who has been exercising and riding horses for more than thirty years, has been galloping Sun Briar since last spring. He says the colt is the most tractable and speediest race horse lie ever was astride of. There has been no let-up in the colts training, despite the cold weather. He has been cantered and jogged three or four miles each day this winter and lias been in the enjoyment of perfect health. The ringbones on his front legs do not seem to bother the great colt.
