Such wagering as takes place is oral, individual and on the lines laid down in the decision of the Louisiana Supreme Court in the Austin case. Won driving; second and third the same. PARRISH, hard ridden and away well, raced close up to the last turn and. standing a drive in the stretch, gamely overhauled GREEN GRASS in the last sixteenth. GREEN GRASS showed the most early speed and hushed resolutely, but tired in the last eighth. H. C. BASCH closed a gap and finished well. DALROSE also closed a big gap. FONTE-FRACT finished fast and close up.- ZAMLOCH tired badly after setting the early pace. CONFLAGRATION was gaining at the end. SEMPER STALWART suffered from interference aiid was given a bad, ride. HARWOOD began slowly, but closed a big gap arid finished fastest of all. RED CROSS raced well and finished gamely. IRISH GENTLEMAN tired badly in the stretch. PIN MONEY had a rough race.
