; THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS J. Rodriguez, a lad who seems to be developing rapidly in the arts of horsemanship, distinguished himself last week by riding the winners of eight races, quite a feat for any rider. No other jockey approached his record closely, nearest to him being Sande. Stirling and Rice, with a credit for each of five winning mounts. F. Robinson fared somewhat poorly at Bowie and with only two wins is still in third place to H. Lunsford and J. Howard, they being in a tie with fifty-seven races won. At Havre de Grace next week Robinson will have an opior-tunity to ride some winners for the powerful H. P. Whitney stable, to which he is under engagement.
