"AVon driving; second and third the same. PAUL CONNELLY was rushed into the lead at once and, holding on gamely, outstayed SOSIUS through .the last sixteenth. SOSIUS saved much ground on all the turns and finished fast. EARLY SIGHT was forced back in the first quarter, but finished gamely. The latter was hard ridden all the way. set a fast early pace and finished gamely, but was easily held safe at the end. BLACK IE DAW had no mishaps and tired in the stretch.
