AMERICAN JOCKEYS DID THEIR "BIT" Eighty-Six Donned the Colors of Uncle Sam Four Paid Supreme Sacrifice. NEW YORK, N. Y., -February 27. American jockeys did their "bit" in the great war, eighty-six of tiieni forsaking their racing silks for the uniform of Uncle Sam. Four of that number paid the supreme sacrifice.
