TO BREAK YEARLINGS AT SARATOGA J W HcClelland Leases Haj August Belmonts Training Quarters for Coming Racers NEW YORK N Y July 14 J W McClelland has leased the Maj August Belmont training quarters at Saratoga for the season of 1919 Mr McClelland at first tried to purchase the place and when he was unable to do so he did the next best thing and leased the establishment The place contains sixtyfour stalls and a firstclass half mile track and the entire stable Avill be occupied by McClelland racers racersThere There are thirtyfive yearlings in tho string and this division will be looked after by Charlie Hughes who will break the youngsters and prepare them for their final trials in September Some of the year ¬ lings will be kept in Saratoga Others will be shipped back to Paris Ky and a division Avill go to Louisville LouisvilleMr Mr McClelland purchased a number of Maj Bel ¬ monts yearlings several weeks ago The two French bred fillies that Avere purchased at the Reiff sale last year and which were turned out at Mr Sims 3000acre farm near Paris Ky have developed Into grandlooking individuals At the conclusion of their racing career they will be bred to Eternal
