The famous 25,000 English marc Sceptre, now twenty years old and nothing great as a brood marc, lies been bred this year to I-ord Glanelys 545 service stallion Quantock, a No. 5 family horse, which earned some distinction as a sprinter. Quantock is ten years old, by Thrush, by Missel Thrush Chemistry. His dam was Rock Egg, by Ayrshire I The Rock.
