ELIGIBLES TO FORT THOMAS HANDICAP CINCINNATI, O., September 24. The Fort Thomas Handicap, an event at three-quarters of a mile, for two-year-olds, will be run Tuesday, September 30, at Latonia. This race lias ,000 added and drew eighty-nine entries. The gross value of the stake will exceed ,000. It will be noticed that many two-year-olds which were on the ailing list during the spring meetings in Kentucky have been named for this event, showing that their owners regard them highly. Harry Payne Whitney was the chief nominator to this race, naming five for it. J. H. Baker, J. S. nawkins, Middleton and Jones, John W. Schorr and W. V. Thraves aro others who named liberally The following are the best of those eligible to start in this event: Friz, Miss Minks, Cotton Blossom, The Swimmer, Marvin May, Spring Vale, Zone dArmce, Atta Boy II., Peace Pennant, Constancy, Miss Jemima, Mile. Dazie, Marjbrie Hynes, Truly Rural, Wendy and Furbelow.
