The latter also raced gamely, but tired in the final drive. DR. CARMEN ran well and finished fast. SUBAHDAR tired in the last eighth. MADGE F. was brought wide into the stretch. SKILES KNOB tired. Won driving; second and third the same. ANGON saved much ground when coming into the stretch, and under a good ride outstayed PEACE PENNANT and won goin; away. The latter, much the best, ran well and would have won with a stronger rider. FRIZ set a fast early pace, but was tiring fast in the stretch. BREAD MAN came witli a rush near the end. The latter moved up with a rush from a slow beginning and held on gamely through the last eighth. VULCANITE ran a good race and but for coming wide into the stretch might have won. REGALO was going well at the end. BLACKIE DAW showed speed, but tired in the stretch. VIVA AMERICA set a fast early pace, but quit after going three-quarters.
