COLT AT 25 BEATS 0,000 FILLY A good fall colt has come out of English racing in Comrade, a black, by Bachelors Double Soura-baya, by Spearmint. He has won all his three races: Sales Stakes, Newmarket, under 110 pounds; Moor Plate, Lingford, 129 pounds, and Sapling Stakes, Sundown, 131 pounds. In the latter he easily beat Tete-a-Tete, by The Tctrareh Bill and Coo filly by William the Third, which was a 0,000 yearling, while Comrade at the same sale fetched 25. His trainer, Gilpin, owns Comrade, which has been ridden in all his races by the American jockey "Skeets" Martin. 9
