CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF W. R. Coe lias twelve yearlings at Belmont Park, seven by Harmonicon, two by Polymelian, two by Celt and one by Son-in-Law. L. A. Broaddus has General Haig, Sans Fuer II., Port Light, Contestant, Eulogy, H. C. Basch, Par-rish and Silvey Shapiro in his string at Jefferson Park and all are reported in racing condition. The four-year-old colt Ultima Thule is quartered at the Fair Grounds, New Orleans and appears fit and ready to race at a moments notice. Sunday lie worked a half mile in 49 hard held with considerable weight up. Jockey Andy Schuttinger, who was badly injured in the race in which Phil Musgravo was killed, will not ride at New Orleans, deeming it best to recuperate during the winter so lie will be able to return to the saddle next spring.
