HUNTING, FISHING AND SPORT. Robert Krise of Canton, Pa., recently caught a wall-eyed pike at Lake Pepaliwin that is believed to have broken all records in that section. After an exciting struggle it was successfully landed and found to weigh seven pounds. Three anglers of Birmingham, Ala., members of the Broken Arrow Hunting and Fishing Club at Riverside n the Coosa River, recently brought back a nine -pound trout, which they claim io be the largest irout ever caught in that section. W. II. Danforth of St. Louis, his son Donald, L. B. Stewart, also of St. Louis, and W. R. Comp-ton of New York recently returned from a thirty-one-day hunting trip up tlie south fork of the Flathead River, where they were successful in getting three bears. The party penetrated tlie wilderness about 100 miles from Coram. Mountain goat, elk and deer were encountered in tlie wilds. Two brown bears and oiie cinnamon bruin were killed and a big silver-tip escaped from their traps only by dragging away the log to which the trap was attached.
