DORIC raced into the lead oh the last turn, but tired slightly. ALBERTA S. raced close up throughout and finished gamely. NAPOO closed a gap from a bad beginning. EULAH F. began slowly and was far back for the first quarter, 1 then closed a gap and finished with a rush. AlAE McGEE set a good pace, but tired. ACCELERATE made tip ground and finished fast. SEWELL COMBS, after being outrun for tlie first half mile, moved up on the outside of the leader with a rush, but was snatched back " and taken to the inside rail at the sixteenth post.. FLAME ran a good race and held on gamely in the final drive. SOMME ran well and finished gamely. STURDEE tired after setting the pace to the last eighth. CAPTAIN B. had no mishaps. ST.
