BIG CROWD AT KENILWORTH Early Arrivals for Big Race Tuesday Greatly Increase Saturdays Attendance. WINDSOR. Out., October 9. Stirring finishes were ngain in order at Kenilworth Park this afternoon and in several of the races the shortest of margins separated the first two as they flashed past the judges. The attendance was the largest of the meeting, many arrivals from different points in the United States and Cuba helping to swell the crowd to enormous proportions. Every train brings in turf enthusiasts who are coming to witness the running of the big match race on Tuesday. Track conditions could not have been improved upon and if no rain comes up in the meantime a record performance will probably be established for an elliptical track in the special race between Man o War and Sir Barton. In the opener Reconnaissance just managed to bat Flying Ford in the closing strides and in the second Earnest managed to get up in time to nose out Huntress. The Lady in Black showed a sensational performance in the sixth race. When the start came Harbourne pulled her up and the filly was as good as left She followed far back to the stretch turn, where she came to the outside and at the end closed up with a rush and passed the tiring Bobby Allen in tbe final strides; James Arthur has arranged to leave with his stable for the Empire track on Monday. Jockey Richcreek will accompany him. E. K. Brysou was an arrival from Laurel. He came to attend a meeting of the directors of the Devonshire Park Club.
