GIPSY QUEEN was hard ridden In the early running, but moved up steadily in the stretch" and drew out with ease in the last eighth. COLUMBIA TENN showed the most early speed and held -oii in good style through the stretch. RIFLE began slowly, but was going well at the end. DIS- PSSION finished gamely. Won driving; second and third the, same. MINTO II. was forced toi race wide on most of the way, but came fast and gamely in the stretch and outstayed SWAY right at the end. SWAY acted badly at the post, but raced forwardly from the start and, taking the lead, only succumbed in the last stride. BEST PAL was under restraint for the first mile and finished fast after saving much ground on the last turn. STERLING set a good pace to the last turn, but tired badly in the stretch.
