GREAT FRENCH FILLY CHANCE-BRED Flowershop, winner of this years French One Thousand Guineas, is really chance-bred. The fillys owner was not favorably inclined toward Alcantara II., and only sent Sunflower to that horse because lie was offered a free nomination. Flowershop was the result. Subsequent to the One Thousand Guineas Flowershop won the French Oaks, of 9,600, her mutuel dividend in a field of fifteen being at the rate of 10 to 7 on.
