He beat Sweeper II. in the Fifty Ninth Triennial at Ascot ami was continuously engaged during his twe-ycar-old career. As a three-year-old ill IBIS Jaeger ran second to Sweeper II. in the Two Thousand Guinea* and sec lo Tagalio in the Derby. He won the Dasrheas i f York Plate at Hurst Park and the Scottish Derby at Aj r as a three-year-olil. Mi s.ingc. the dam of Jaeger, was sold when i ighteea years old at Newmarket for 818.368.
