FINE RECORD OF JOEL STALLIONS The influence of Sol and J. H. Joel on thoroughbred breeding was well illustrated at the recent Goodwood, England, meeting, when six out of the seven races run on the opening day went to horses sired by their stallions. Three of their own winners were home bred- Stupidity, by Polymelus or Snnstar; Napoli, by Polymelus, and Huffoon, by Hlacl: Jester. Sir J. Ruchaunns Cask is hy Polymelus, Air. Rnyild Service Kit is by Long Set, and Fodder, bred by Capt. I?. H, Hrassey, ia by Pouiuieru.
