BELMONT PARK FEATURES Program for Coming Autumn Meeting Announced Futurity on Second Saturday. SARATOGA, N. Y.. August 18. The book program of the Helmout Iark meeting was distributed by racing secretary Karlocker of the Westchester Racing Association at the local course yesterday, and horsemen expressed the satisfaction with b"g features which have been scheduled for the thirteen days, which will begin on Friday, September -There is no purse of less than ,000, and the overnight handicaps are of an added value of ,300 to ,300. The slake races for the opening day of the meeting are the Manhattan and Tomboy Handicaps. The foimer is for all ages at a mile, while the Tomboy is exclusively for two-year-old ffllics: Each has a fine entry and an added value of ?-"00. On the first Saturday there -ill he the tremendous attraction of the Lawrence Realization, at a mile and five-eighths. This is one of the great races of the American turf, and it has always attracted a great crowd. Tiie probable starters will come from the following: Grey Lag, Trystcr, Touch Me Not, Sportiboy, Nancy Lee, Despair, John Haul Jones, Inchcape, Sperling Hlood and Our Flag. On Saturday the historic Nursery Handicap, for two-year-olds al three-quarters of a mile, will also be decided. The Futurity, one of the greatest races of the year for tWo-year-ohls, will not be run until the second Saturday of the meeting. A feature of tin meeting which will appeal to the public is the large number of races that wit l-e run around the turn instead of over the straight con rue as formerly. There are a number of two-year-old races at five and a half furlongs and three-quarter which will be so decided. This action was taken by the management in deference to the wishes of the public. All of the best horses in training in this oun try will be seen at Relmont Iark, and the meeting, which will open on the first Friday in September, ought to furnish some of the finest sport of the entire year.
