Uncle only raced when a two-year-old and never started in Si race at Emeryville. L. H. A., Louisville, Ky. A wager of August 15 on the J. K. L. Boss entry, with Boniface to go, would have been a draw because Boniface did not go. A. K., Brooklyn, X. Y. A wager on Sir Hugh in the race won by Pegasus would have been on the Jones entry with Sir Hugh to go and consequently a draw. AV. C. M., Bowling Green, Ky., and others elsewhere. In race 50372 at Windsor August 17, the colt Minute Man was duly entered, but owing to an error of the track official in charge of the matter his name was not included in the entry list sent out from the track. This error did not do away with the fact that he was entered and won. People away from the track who wager at the track odds do so subject to what may happen at the track and can only win in accordance with the official plac-ings. Of course, in cases where wagers were made at a price laid and accepted at the time Minute Man would cut no more figure than if he had not been entered.
