BELMONT PARK HANDICAP Weights Assigned the Horses in the Tomboy, Manhattan and Nursery Handicaps. SAIIATOGA. X. Y., August 29. Mr. Vosburgh made public yesterday the weights for the Tomboy and Manhattan Handicaps, which will be the features of the opening day at Belmont Iark. The former is for two-year-old fillies and is over the five and a half furlongs straight course. It has an added value of S2,r00 and with Miss Joy au absentee. Calamity Jane is selected as the best and scheduled to Carry 12 pounds. Nancy F. comes next at 121. one pound more than My Heverie. Itose Brigade and Collinga are rated equal at 11S, while Nedna. which lias not raced up to her early promise, is in at 117. Of those that have appeared in public and have shown any form, Mission Bells at 110, and Cltimata at 10S, are in well. Lizette, Dolores and Meadow Mist, which ran recently in the same race, are in light according to their private form, which is said to be good. Their imposts are respectively 107, 100 and 107 pounds. On one of her races Nancy Shanks, at 100, would have a royal chance and the same is true of Kxterminate, which has only 102 pounds opposite her name. The Manhattan Handicap, which also has an added value of ,500 and is a dash of a mile, has Purchase for the headliner with 183 his stable companion Mad Hatter has one pound less. Thunderclap is next at ISO a pound more than that other fast horse Luculiite. Audacious is in well at 121! and so is Yellow Hand at 124. Seiinings Park, a real miler, is well treated at 123. Grey Lug is asked to give the big son of Jim Saffney a year and a pound. Naturalist is in at 122 and Krewer at 121. The Whitney three-year-olds Tryster and Prudery are weighted at US and 117, respectively. Knobbie at 11.1 pounds. Sporting Blood 114 and Careful at 112 are the most fancied of the other three-year-olds. Touch Me Not at 107, Latiius at 105 and Idle Dell at 105 will have plenty of friends. As a companion to the Lawrence Realization, which will be the particular feature of the second day. secretary Karlocker offers the historic Nursery Handicap for two-year-olds. This will be run around the turn at three-quarters, and the public will have a full view of the contest. Long Island, Hose Brigade and Collinga at 114 each, and Nedna and Bigheart at 113 will have a following. The same is true of Pillory and Mercutio at 110 and Deadlock at 109. Penalties for all of these handicaps will accrue from today and the winners of the Hopeful Stakes on tiie closing day of the meeting and the Albany Handicap tomorrow will have to pick up an additional five pounds.
