VERY SUCCESSFUL RACING AT VICHY The race meeting at Vichy came to a successful conclusion on Thursday, August 11. The day of the Grand Prix was a particularly notable occasion. A larger crowd than had ever before turned out at Vichy track witnessed the sport, and although the big stake resulted in victory for an outsider, there was 110 complaints as the race obviously was decided on its merits. The condition of the track was excellent, which was a great surprise to the trainers who had expected a hard track, in view of the long drought.
