Won easily; second and third driving. FOY came past the leaders with a rush when straightened out in the stretch and, taking the lead, drew away decisively in the final eighth. JOHN MORRILL, a good looker, began slowly, but finished fast on the inside. MODNA made up ground and finished gamely. CONSUL ran away an eighth while enroute to the post and displayed much speed to the eighth post. SHADY NOOK tired after going three-eighths.
