WITHDRAW JOCKEY LICENSES Ensor, Collins and Yeargin Under Ban of Jockey Club Mizells Application Denied. NEW YORK, N. Y., September 28. Tlie stewards of the Jockey Club, meeting in their offices at IS East Forty-first street, withdrew the licenses of jockeys A. Collins, G. Yeargin and L. Ensor. No explanation of the action of the stewards in the cases of Collins and Yeargin was given, but it is understood that the licenses were canceled as the result of an investigation started after alleged unsatisfactory rides by the pair in a race at Saratoga. In the race in question Collins, astride Pirate Mc-Gee, finished second, and Yeargin, on Leatherface, finished third. The race was won by Natural Bridge. Collins has been riding nt the present meeting at Latonia. Yeargin, following his suspension at Saratoga, went to Canada and accepted mounts, but the Canadian Racing Associations refused to allow him to ride when they heard of his reasons for leaving Saratoga. Ensors license was canceled "ns a result of his many lapses from grace," according to ilie announcement of the stewards. Ensor was suspended by the stewards of the Saratoga association when lie reported to the paddock judge in an unfit condition to ride. His suspension was- continued by the stewards of the Belmont Park and Aqueduct meetings. The application of W. H. Mizell for restoration to good standing was denied by the stewards. He was formerly an owner and trainer of race horsc3. The stewards present at the meeting were: August Belmont, H. K. Knapp, F. R. Hitchcock J. E. Widener and John E. Cowdin.
