SAGAMOOK was in close quarters for the first eighth and was sharply cut off and stumbled, then was taken to the outside on the far turn and coming on fast wore down AJOM in the last eighth and won In the last stride. AJOM tired after racing to the front at the eighth post, but linLshed resolutely. CHIEF SPONSOR tired badly in the last sixteenth after racing into the lead. CORONADO furnished close contention until in the last quarter, where he tired. TUANSPERO was taken back in the early running, but always held MINATA safe.
