OSSIAN WINS THE GERMAN ST. LEGER TbO.Serman Bt. Leger 100,000 marks was won easily, at Barlin-Grunewald iast month by Herren de Weinbergs Ossian, by Fels Osella, from King Midas, Axenstein and two others. Ossian had "Previously won the Grand Prizes of Berlin, Hanover, Cologne and Baden and his gains this year, Including place money, amount to 487,500 marks nominally 21,875. ; while for, the. whole of his turf career, taking in his victories as a two-year-old, the total of 512,200 marks nominally 38,050.
