CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF R. J. Mackenzie is said to be a prospective purchaser of the speedy Star Shoot gelding Georgie. The Cesarewitch Stakes, one of Englands most famous races, will be run at Newmarket today. Edward Cebrian, the California breeder, Is en route from San Francisco to New York, from where he will shortly sail for England. The Rose Tree Hunt races will be run on October 19 and October 22. with the Rose Tree Hunter Sweepstakes as the outstanding contest of the two days meeting. George P. Fuller, owner of the Bronx Stable, passed through Chicago yesterday on his way East, where he expects to purchase several good 1-orses. He reports Be Frank entirely recovered from the lameness sustained last winter and that he will be in condition to race at Tijuana.
