The Metropolitan Jockey Club encountered some disagreeable weather during its autumn meeting, held at Jamaica from October 1 to October 15, but nevertheless the thirteen days of racing was up to the high standard always maintained on the tracks under the jurisdiction of the Jockey Club and was uniformly successful. There were seventy-eight , races run and 30,791 distributed in stakes and purses, the daily average distribution amounting to 0,001. The Rancocas Stable, after a month or more of a losing slump, forged to the front and tops the winning owners of the meeting with 1921.sh,472 to its credit.
