Pauleys other winning mounts were Enos in the fifth race and Olive James iu the sixth. A larger than average week-day crowd turned out to say farewell for tin? year to the thoroughbreds in Canada. With fine weather the last three days, a Saturday and a holiday with today a semi-holiday because of the civil elections, the meeting will do rather better financially than was anticipated. There will be no money made, but no loss. With the conclusion today of the local racing season there was a general exodus of officials and racing men. Dr. F. W. Ashe. W. W. Lyles and Starter Eddie Tribe leave tonight for Baltimore. Charlie Campeau, associate judge, leaves for New Orleans to sped a few days at his home and theu goes to Cuba for winter racing.
