BREEDERS9 FUTURITY STAKES TOD A Y MISS JOY, FAIR PHANTOM, STARTLE AND JOHN FINN ARE AMONG TWELVE NAMED TO STRIVE FOR THIS RICH RACING PRIZE Today at Lexington the valuable Breeders Futurity will be run. This race closed July 1, 1919, with 478 nominations at each, -118 made the second payment at , 207 the third payment at 0 and 90 the fourth payment at 0. These payment together with the ,000 added by the Kentucky Jockey Club and the starting fees of 50 each, make the gross value of the race in excess of 0,000. The winner receives 70 per cent of the stakes, which will amount to more than 0,000. The nominator of the first, second and third horses will receive 00, 00 and 00 respectively. With such tempting inducements offered, it is not at all surprising to find several of the foremost two-year-ohls of the year among the twelve overnight acceptances for.the twelfth running of the Breeders Futurity. The peerless Miss Joy and her stable companion Fair Phantom will carry the Montfort Jones silks, and they will find formidable opponents in II. H. Hewitts Startle, the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes winner, and fi. F. Bakers John rinn, considered to bo the best of the others. The.
