HINPHYS AUSPICIOUS DEBUT Makes His First Appearance at Maple Heights ! Track and Rides Three Winners. CLEVELAND, O., October 2i. Jockey W. Hinpby made his debut here today and rode three winners in a row, scoring with Chimera; Mack Garner and Shoreacres. The principal contest of : the afternoon was the Bedford Handicap and Mack Garner, under Ilinphys expert riding, easily beat Joe Goodman and Apple Jack II. An excellent crowd witnessed the racing today, which was the best of the meeting. The track was in fine condition. Jockey G. Mangan was an arrival today and will ride here. Word was received here that C. S. Wilson is en route here with Oaklawn Belle and three others. There are sixteen head in the car. T. Hodge yesterday claimed Harry Burgoyno for ,300 from G. C. Baker. R. 1. Carter, who is trainer of the Hodge stable here, will handle the horse. D. A. Campbell was an arrival today with four head, the property of the Burnside Stable. E. Wellwood also got in with Landslide. Jockey F. Murphy arrived this morning and will commence riding here tomorrow.
