LEM0N0RA GOES TO THE MANTON STUD The Knglish winner of the US] 1reuch Grand Prix, Liinonoia. though a three- year-old, has sure enoagh gone to the stud. He will stand at Manton. Marlborough, at a fee of ?:i!10, but will be almost a private sire for his o.wier. Sir Joseph Watson. Leflsaasra is a chestnut colt, by I-mberg— ITsBors. by GaUiawle. He was hri d at the famous Sle-dinc-re Stud, and was pure based by Mr. Joseph Watson for 0,500, proving a much better bargain than Westward Ho. for which Lord Glauely gave 5,008 at the- same sale. Le-tnonora won the Champagne Stakes at Don-caater as a two year-eld, and also finished second in the Two Thousand Guineas and third in last years ■passs Derby. During his racing career of two years I,emonora won 25,000 in stakes and was therefore an excellent investment for his lucky owner, whose profit on a tew horses since his advent on the turf is c.ver a half million.
