Mil., March 88.— Trainer Eugene Wayland. who has the Willis Sharpe Kilmer horse-y in training at Havre de Grace, is enthusiastic over the band of two. year-olds that are taking daily exercise at the Harford county course. The juveniles, twelve in number, by Sun Briar. are a handsome looking band, and came out of Binghamtoti winter quarters in splendid condition. In comparison with horses that wintered further south the youngsters are Well advanced in their training and will be seen under colors at Havre de Grace, Extermintor. the "lion" of the turf, is the until standing attraction of the older division. Every visitor to Havre de Grace goes to see Exterminator. The old follow is in splendid condition and has taken on considerable weight since his strenuous battle with Boniface in the winning of the Pimlieo Cup laRt fall. Trainer Wayland, as all his trainers have been, is in love with the old gelding and has mapped out a stiff campaign for him this year. Exterminator will in all likelihood make his debut in the running of the Harford Inaugural, at three- on.irters of a mile. This race will probably gatiier all the best sprinters in Maryland. Then Extcrnii-i, eater is to go in a handicap over a long distance of ground. After this he will be shipper to I,ouis-f ville. Ky. Exterminator has lx-oii nominated for the Kentucky Handicap, at a mile and a quarter, and the Clark Handicap, at a mile and an eighth. The present plans of the stable are that Ex-y terminator will surely go in the Kentucky Handicap. Of the other aged horses the best kiunvn Is Our Flag, a strapping four-year-old. which will be seen ai Havre ile Crave.
