F. FARRELLS RACING STABLE FOR 1922 NKW YORK. N. Y.. March 28. -Although Frank Farrell races only a small band of horses he has secured the services of jockey L. McAlee for the coming racing season. This rider, who has had wide experience in the saddle, can ride at light weight and is much in demand. There was keen competition for his services for 1922. The horses are in charge of tiainer H. C. Mclaughlin, who once had Roseben and Old Rosebud in his care. The Farrell horses, three older batata and two two-year-olds, spent the winter at the Oravesend track. Farrell paid ,000 for Ihe Von Tromp colt and *1 .500 for the Dick Finnell colt at Ihe Dili-lands Ac i.eiemy sale in September. The older horses of the establishment are headed by the four-year-old Olambala colt Dimmesdale, accuiired during the past year from R. T Wilson, which, although lie showed fine speed and excellent form in nearly all of his starts last year, suffered from poor racing luck and did not win his share of the races. Much is expected of him this year. Nancy F.. I stake-winning two-year-old in 1921. is also expected to figure strongly in the racing of the coming season. Rainbow Boy, also a three-year-old, has been slow to develop top form but is expected to show well.
