II „ R - e I i r e i i 1 -..-.-. ... .-, B . GOOD TIMES IN A FAST WORK-OUT PIMLICO. Md.. March .10.— Good Times, the Theo. Cook gelding which will carry the colors of J. S. Oeedea in the Kentucky Derby, showed his speed in a half-mile work-out over the Pimlico course last Sunday morning, coveting the distance in 4»%. This is exceptional time for an early season gallop over the local track, which is not extraordinarily fast at any time and shows that the gelding is well advanced in his preparation. Jo. key Tareino Kummer. the Cosden contract rider, was in the saddle. He had the son of Theo. Geek- Bounty, under restraint at the end. Trainer William Garth will not rush the three-e year old in his rondit inning. He plans to bring him along slowly, waiting until the end of April to send him over a long distance. Good Times, according to present plans, will be shipped West in a lew days before the Derby date. I. idy Baltimore, the oden candidate for the Kentucky Oaks, is also training well, and it is the intention now to ship her to the Blue Grass State at the same time as Good Times.
