LOUISIANA ANTIRACING ANTIRACINGBILL BILL IS HALTED AGAIN AGAINNEW NEW ORLEANS La June 13 By a vote of 57 to 51 the Louisiana house of representa ¬ tives last night amended the ButlerShattuck antiracing bill with a parish option clause Representative Tobin of Natchitoches intro ¬ duced the amendment amendmentThe The bill now goes to the legislative bureau and nothing more will be heard of it for a few days although possible strategic moves will keep up interest in its existence existenceBy By the amendment the bill will affect only those parishes which vote themselves under its jurisdiction by referendum referendumFollowing Following the adoption of the amendment the house voted down a proposal of repre ¬ sentative Claiborne of Pointe Coupe to post ¬ pone the Butler bill indefinitely The vote here was 47 to 59
