LATEST LEXINGTON GOSSIP LEXINGTON, Ky., June 13.— Great interest is beiiig displayed in the bi;r race to be run at Latonia next Saturday and quite a delegation of breeders and local followers of racing will go to the Covington track to wit-nesa it. Dr. Marius Johnstons flattie Mc sister to The Masquerader, bay mate foaled 1911, by Ogden — Masquerade, died last week from abscess of the liver. Charles S. McCracken last week came to Lexington and shipped back to Oak BJdga Farm, Virginia, four of Thomas F. Ryans thoroughbred mares, they being Maiden Hair, bred to Short Grass; Claudia, Red Ruff and another, all bred to Upset Maiden Hair has at heel a chestnut colt by Sea King. McCracken said there are seven yearlings at Oak Ridge that will be shipped to John Lof-tus at Belmont Park. They are: Brown colt, by Wrack — Sea Wave, by Sea King ; brown colt, by Sea King— Fannie Meehan, by Beach Comber or Helmet ; brown colt, by George Smith — Ruby Nethersole, by Star Ruby; chestnut filly, by Ballot — Maiden Hair, by Trap Rock; chestnut filly, by Sea King-Court Holiday, by Queens Cirthday ; chestnut filly, by Sea King — Ausander, by Coriander.
