CONTACT set a good pace to the last eighth, but could not withstand the winners challenge. LITTLE HOPE raced prominently all the way. LADY MYRA finished gamely, but lacked her usual early speed. SADDLE AND BOOTS slipped through next to the inner rail when entering the stretch and finished gamely, but could never overtake the leaders. PICNIC tired in the last quarter. The latter moved up gamely on the stretch turn, but was forced wide and lost ground, then closed up again and would have been second in a few more strides. HILLHOUSE was hard ridden all the way. PUD ran well. FLYING DEVH. had a rough race, HEIRLOOM set a fast early pace, but quit badly in the stretch.
