Electro, the dam of tho Latonia Derby winner, Thibodaux, was bred this year to the Kentucky Derby winner Behave Yourself. H. Neusteter has purchased from C. Buxton the horse Walk Up and will ship from Fort Erie to Cleveland to race at Maplo Heights. "W. Stdrrnont .has purchased at private terms from C. Buxton the platers Devonite and The Nephew. They will bo trained by C. Taretto. E. J. Salt has decided to ship his stablo from Fort Erie to Cleveland to compete at the Maple Heights meeting, which opens on Saturday next "Word comes from San Francisco that James W. Coffroth will increase the valuo of the Coffroth Handicap, the outstanding feature of the Tijuana meeting, from 0,-000 to 0,000. From early indications more horses will be sold at Saratoga this year than ever before. In addition to the regular yearling sales there will be a number of breeding farm dispersals and sales of horse3 in training. Mr. and Mrs. Charles "W. Chessar and Miss Marie Mahler were visitors at Empire City Monday to see Mis3 Mahlers English colt Spade Guinea perform in the opening race. It was the first appearance under silks of the trim little son of Hapsburg and Guinea Grass and he attracted a deal of favorablo comment
