YOUNG TEEO. COOKS TO BE SOLD THURSDAY SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., August 15. Theo. Cook, son of Ben Brush and Climax, member of the famous "Agnes family" in thoroughbred racing and fourth sire of the current racing season in point of the number cf two-year-old winners, is the stallion that will be most strongly represented Thursday night at the Fasig-Tipton Companys sale, when the yearlings of Edward P. Simms Nalapa Stud will be offered to expectant buyers. AVith nine two-year-old winners of sixteen races and a total of 0,395, Theo. Cook is led only by Atheling, Ultimus and Sweep. Sweep, like Theo. Cook, is a son of Ben Brush. Theo. Cooks two-year-old winners are Triumph, Poppye, Old Top, Fighting Cook, St. Valentine, Corto, Haidee, Faith W. and Nowata. Poppye, Old Top and Fighting Cook have won three races each and St. Valentine two. Triumph defeated Dan E. OSuIlivan, Shamrock, Easter Bells, Prince K., Rustem and Blue Nose at Louisville when he won the Bashford Manor Stakes.
