RIGHT ON TIME ran well all the way, but could not get tit the leader. WATER TAX had ho mishaps and finished gamely. ZEUREKA closed up some ground. PURL raced close up all the way and had no mishaps, but could not quite outfiuish the winner. ROISTERER worked hi way up on the inside and finished fast. ST. TOY MISS raced forwardly and made a game finish. FATHER DAMIEN set a good pace and raced PETER PIPER into defeat, then tired. FINCASTLE closed a gap and finished fast on the inside. BECKNA closed a gap. HARRY BURGOYNK finished well. PETER PIPER ran a fast half and quit. NORTH WALES tired after raciug into a contending position. COLONEL MATT set a fast pace to the last eighth, then quit.
