Won easily; second and third driving. WIDGEON, well ridden throughout, followed the leaders under restraint until in the final eighth, when he rushed into the lead and won going away. BR0CKLESI5Y, always a forward contender, raced FRENCH FURZE into defeat and took the lead on the stretch turn, bnt could not withstand the winners challenge. FLANNEL SHIRT, in tight quarters to the eighth post, finished gamely and wore THE DICTATOR down for third place. The latter displayed the most speed in the early running and finished resolutely. ROYAL CHARLIE made up ground. FRENCH FURZE raced into the lead, but gave way in the stretch drive. LUCKY ANTOINE, off slowly, overcame repeated interference and closed a great gap. ADVENTURESS was crowded back at the eichth post when racing in a forward position. LADY MYRA was forced wide for the entire race. RUSTEM was forced back below the eightli post. HEPHAISTOS suffered from interference when entering the backstretch. but recovered quickly and gained steadily to the end. TOIL displayed a good order ot speed for three-quarters.
