Won driving; second and third the same. LONGBOAT, close up on the outside from the start, came fast through the stretch and gamely outfinished BLACK FRIDAY in the final drive. BLACK FRIDAY began slowly, but gained steadily and, finishing fast andgamely, was wearing the leader down in the last strides. VIRGINIUS began forwardly and dropped back" in the early running, but when well into the stretch he gained rapidly and probably would have won in a few more strides. POOR PUSS closed a gap in the final quarter and finished gamely. FELICITOUS had a rough race. MARY PAL and DREAM DAYS tired in the final eighth after alternating in pacemaking. . Won easily; second and third driving. ENCHANTMENT was saved close up in the early running and came on the outside when in the stretch, tut rushed into the lead when called on and won in a canter. BRIGHT TOMORROW worked his way up on the outside and, finishing gamely, passed ALADDIN in the final sixteenth. ALADDIN set an extremely fast early pace, but tired in the stretch drive. PENNON raced forwardly all the way and finished resolutely. SHAMROCK was shuffled back on the last turn and was in close quarters at the finish. NEWMARKET began slowly, but closed a big gap and raced well. PAISLKY retired after going a half mile. HENNA was practically left at the post. Scratched 64272 Certain, 115; G4335sRuuleigh, 105. SCOTTISH CHIEF closed a big gap end finished with a rush through the Onnl eighth. JOCK SCOT tired after racing into the. lead. KIRK-LEVINGTON rjn well. BOXWOOD saved ground on all the turns. POLLY WALE closed a gap. BULLET closed a big gap. KOCKMINISTER set a fast pace from the start and under slight restraint for the first mile, then drew away rapidly in the stretch and won in a canter. HOROLOGE raced in closest pursuit of the leader all the way and was hard ridden to retain second place. HEPHAISTOS saved ground when entering the stretch and outstayed WH1SKAWAY in the final drive. ALLAN set a fast pace to the last eighth and, finishing gamely, outstayed TWO FEATHERS in the final drive. The latter ran a good race and finished resolutely. BLUFFER moved up menacingly on the stretch turn, but tired in the final drive. TREVELYAN was crowded back while coming out of the chute and could never improve his position afterward. CURTIS, a rapid beginner, set a fast pace and tired in the stretch, but finished resolutely when challenged. TUXEDO raced prominently throughout and outstayed PRINCE REGENT.
