DEAUVILLE MEETING CLOSES SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. DEAUVILLE, France, August 2S. The Deauville season of racing came to an end yesterday with the running of a program featured by the Grand Prix de Deauville of 0,000. The race was won by L. Manta-cheffs Bahadur, a bay colt by Sardanapale Amazone HI., ridden by the American colored rider James Winkfield. A length and a half behind the winner Marcel Boussacs Grille-mont saved second place from A. K. Macom-bers Algerien. Although the race is for three-year-olds and over the placed horses were all foals of 1919. The distance for the Grand Prix is a mile and five-eighths. The Macomber colt is a bay by Rabelais Africaine.
