AL PIERCE ran well and, finishing resolutely, was wearing the winner down at the finish. ALLAH saved ground on tlie stretch turn, but tired in the final drive. SETHS LEMON set a good pace, raced on the inside and, saving much ground on the turns, won because best ridden at the end. ETHEL CLAYTON raced on the outside all the way and. taking the lead on the stretch turn, would have won witli a stronger finisher up. PATCHWORK raced forwardly and gamely all the way. MAYPOLE ran well, but tired after moving up with a rush when entering the homestretch. ANAPRISA raced forwardly, but below her best form, and tired in the final drive. HONEYS JEWEL ran well. KENTISH P.OY ran well.
