Won driving; second and third the same. MARINE CORPS was far back for the first quarter, but moved up fast in the stretch, although coming wide, and outstayed ROYAL DICK through the last sixteenth. ROYAL DICK showed the most speed from a fast beginning, but tired near the ned. ORLOVA ran well and had no mishap-!, but began tiring in the last eighth. MERLE finished well.
