ALLUMEUR AT SUN BRIAR Sire of Futurity Winner, Sallys Alley, Still the Property of Federal Remount Service. NEW YORK, N. Y., September 27. It will come as a welcome piece of news to the breeders of this state that the stallion Allu-meur, the sire of Sallys Alley, winner of the Futurity, is the property of the Federal Remount Service, and Is located at Sun Briar Court at Binghamton. This means that the fine son of Meddler will be available at a nominal charge to all that care to send their mares to him. Of course there will be a limit to the number of services and the mares to which he will be mated will have to come up to the standards of the service. It was supposed that Allumeur had been returned to Binghamton in exchange for the stallion Magic IX, but Major C. L. Scott said on Tuesday that the sire of Sallys Alley is the property of the United States government and that they are proud of the achievements of his daughter. There is general jubilation all through the state over the achievements of the New York-bred filly.
